On Sunday, I was thankful to spend the day with Brooke an a few of her great teammates.

Yesterday, I was thankful that all the rain we got was rain and not snow.

This morning, I’m thankful that I’ll have time to work on a few websites tonight.

Yesterday, I was thankful that an event I coordinated at the local community center went off without a hitch.

Today, I am thankful that I get to go watch my wife kick some roller derby ass at the Lehigh Valley opener.

Thanks, Day 18

Today, I’m thankful I got to join in the fun at the PRDR end of the year party/dance/whatever. I wasn’t planning on attending, but my dad encouraged me to go and he stayed home with my boys (who were already asleep when I headed out). It was a nice way to spend time with my favorite gals in the world, including my most favorite gal.

Today, I’m also thankful for having a great relationship with my Dad. We weren’t always close, but over the last decade of my life, our relationship has grown and I’m very thankful to have him in my life.

And, finally, today, I am thankful for help from family and friends in dealing with my sons when I want to throw them out of a window. Being able to walk away for a few minutes really, really, really helps.

Thanks, Day 7

Today, I’m thankful that Brooke (my tough, beautiful, and talented wife) found roller derby almost two years ago… such a fun sport, a good group of friends for her, and a great way for her to actually get out of the house and away from out nutso kids.

Today, I’m thankful that my furnace turned back on after the oil lines froze due to the arctic temperatures. It started getting COLD in the house. I am super thankful that I can afford a heated home and I will be sure to pray tonight for those who can’t.

Today, I am also thankful that I have wonderful and supportive landlords. They’re family, so maybe that’s why they care do much, but it’s great to have them.
