Thanks, August 18th

Today, I’m thankful I didn’t strangle my puggle last when he broke out of the new dog pen that I spent all day building with my dad.

Today, I’m also thankful that despite being unable to sleep well, I feel pretty good.

Today, I’m thankful that I’ve still got more than half of my vacation left… and that I got almost nine hours of sleep.

It has been a nice week thus far!

This early morning in which I am waking up to my screaming child at a house that isn’t my own, i am very thankful for family who looks out for us.

Sorry for falling behind. I’ve been sick and busy, but this is about thankfulness not crabbiness… so…

I’m thankful that on Saturday, I was able to bring a family member aboard the Apple train by helping her pick out a killer iMac.

I’m thankful that on Sunday, I got to sleep in while the boys went to church with Pop Pop.

I’m thankful that on Monday, I was able to stay home to try to feel better. A job with paid time off is a huge blessing.

Today (well yesterday, now), I’m thankful that I’m in a loving marriage. Several recent stories from other people have reminded me how great it I have it.

Today, I am thankful I can go to sleep early. I don’t feel well and, thankfully, there’s not much I need to do.

Today, I am also thankful to begin a new eating and workout plan. It is certainly needed.
